Casein Paintings_Narrative Sequences
This gallery exhibits my three wordless visual stories (Counterpart, Two Voices, and Expectations & Desires), each told in the form of a time-ordered series of events, a narrative sequence. Therefore, each painting equals an event, and how I arrange these paintings equals the time-ordering element. These sequences are meant to be read from left to right.
Although each painting can stand on its own, the paintings are meant to be interpreted in the context of the whole story, much the way one interprets images in comics.
